It is time for a new political party. “The Tea Party.” Remember, in the mid 1800s, there were two major political parties, the Whigs and the Democrats. The Republican party did even not exist until 1854. The Whigs and the Democrats in power would not end slavery and they wanted to expand it into the frontier territories against the will and values of the majority of Americans. So, many Americans fled both parties and started a new party called the “Republican” Party.” Their slogan was “free labor, free land, free men.” America voted for their candidate, Abraham Lincoln, and it was on! We killed each other for our beliefs, tore our country to shreds, and came out better on the other side. Now, the Republicans are rolling and laughing in the same beds of money that the Democrats have been rolling in all along and it is time for us to exercise our rights again. Everyone keeps talking about lack of representation for us and our beliefs, the little guy and gal, the working people, the working poor. Democrats and Republicans will NEVER vote to deprive themselves of our money so that WE may prosper. Well our founders knew that “…absolute power corrupts absolutely” and that is EXACTLY why they wrote our founding documents to provide the solution for this inevitable situation; A NEW PARTY – THE TEA PARTY! If you are going to a TEA party on Independence Day, make it happen. We all need to come out of these parties with a plan, which includes creating the official TEA PARTY and start looking for our candidates. – Captain Clarity
